Hopefully, you've enjoyed the cards from the last several days and are prepared for tomorrow!!!
Today's blog is about a Valentine's day treat for special peeps....
Aren't these the cutest!!!
I used the Two Tag Dies for these. I used Real Red cardstock, doubled over and placed so that the bottom of the tag doesn't cut all the way through. Then from the center crease, I measured 1 3/4" on one side and 2 1/4" from the center crease and scored. Then on the short scored side, I punched a hole to slide a Tootsie Pop stick through. Then I layered Silver Glimmer paper punched with the 1 3/4" Scallop Circle Punch. Then I stamped from the P.S. I Love You stamp set (retired) with Real Red ink. I used the circle of hearts on Real Red; the Sent with Love on Whisper White and again on Pretty in Pink. I punched out the Whisper White with the 1" Circle Punch and then the Feb 14 portion on Pretty in Pink with the 1/2" Circle Punch. I popped each layer with a Dimensional.
I tied a red ribbon bow and then used the stamped For You in Real Red and placed it on the Tootsie Pop stick with a glue dot.
They came together real quick and I hope my loved ones enjoy them....
And I have to give a shout out to my Grandson in celebration of his 3rd birthday....
Many Blessings....Cathy

Valentine's Day - Card #3
So much of Valentine's Day is about the girls....flowers....candy....jewelry....
But here is the perfect Valentine for the men in your life....
The base is Crumb Cake. The hearts from the Fashionable Heart Embosslits in Real Red, Pretty in Pink and Early Espresso. Some are flat and other are popped with Dimensionals. The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes. And as easy as that, you have the perfect masculine card.
I think the Crumb Cake and the Early Espresso makes it manly. If you wanted to make it more feminine, then start with Whisper White or Very Vanilla and replace the Early Espresso hearts with Melon Mambo.
Many Blessings....Cathy

Valentine's Day - Card #2
This week will be a busy one... Fat Tuesday, Ash Wednesday, Grandson 3rd Birthday, Valentine's Day, Daughter coming in, Baby Shower....
But today is all about prepping for Valentine's Day. And in our house, it's all about the dogs.....
Isn't he the cutest!!! And so simple...
I started off with cutting the base card out of Basic Black and using the Scallop Square Big Shot die. Then I layered Whisper White and Real Red. I ran the Real Red through the Stripes Embossing Folder. Then I popped up hearts from the Fashionable Heart Embosslit.
The Puppy is punched using the Word Window Punch for his ears, 1 1/4" Circle Punch for his head, muzzle and collar. I used the flower from the Punch Pack. 1 3/8" Circle Punch for his body. 1" Circle cut in half for his feet. The sentiment is from the P.S. I Love You Stamp set (Retired). This stamp set was on the Clearance Rack for a while but it is no longer there....best set ever!!! The sentiment is layered on a Modern Label Punch out of Basic Black....
Too sticking cute....

Valentine's Day Card - Day #1
Yahoo.... Valentine's is just a few days away.
This card is a bright, clean and classic card. Very masculine. I cut a 4 1/4" x 11 base out of Real Red cardstock. I folded it in half. The Whisper White is 4" x 5 1/4". I cut a 3" x 4" Basic Gray and punched the top and bottom with the Scallop Trim Border. I then cut a 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" Real Red square and ran it through the Big Shot using the Fashionable Heart Embosslits. The Silver Glimmer paper hearts are punched with the Small Heart Punch. The sentiment is just the bottom portion of a retired stamp set from last years Spring Mini. To just get a part of an image on a stamp, take a Marker and color just the portion you want. Then huff on the stamp before stamping. Works great! I flagged the ends just because...

Thankful Thursday
Thankful Thursday.... I am Thankful for the Loves in my life....my husband....my children....my grandchildren...my friends....even the love of my puppies....A day set aside just to celebrate the loves in our lives!
Valentines Day is a week away and I wanted to share some of the fun creations I've come up with to give you ideas!
First off, I have to share some of the decor in my house.
I call this a 9-Square. The frame is a 12x12 frame. I cut the blocks to 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" and 3 1/4" x 3 1/4". I filled the squares with a variety of Valentines paper that I had hanging around and then added a variety of hearts. The true message (I Love U) was cut from my Cricut but you could use any letters.
Hope you enjoy this bright and fun project....
Many Blessings.... Cathy

Sunflower Birthday....
And this week wouldn't be complete without a Birthday Card... I made this card for my beautiful Daughter-in-Law. She loves all things Sunflower!
To make this card, I used the Floral Frames Edgelits and cut the largest flower and ran it through the Lacy Brocade Embossing Folder from last year's Holiday Catalog. This folder is still available to order (check out the Spring Catalog, page 36). I then sponged the embossing with a Daffodil Delight ink.
The next layer used Daydream Medallions stamped in Daffodil Delight on the same color cardstock. I then used the Floral Frames Edgelits to cut this image out.
The last layer is the 2.5" punch of Early Espresso, run through the Square Lattice Embossing Folder. I layered these together with Dimensionals and added the Happy Birthday greeting. This great greeting is from the Itty Bitty Banners stamp set and I used the matching Bitty Banner Framelits! So cute and so simple....
Hope you've enjoyed the cards this week....I'm so glad to be back!
